Senior Quality Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Quality Engineer to join our consulting team. This role is ideal for a testing professional with a strong background in payroll, workforce management platforms, and data migration combined with solid SQL skills.

The successful candidate will be hands-on in delivering high-quality testing services across critical payroll and workforce programs. They will play a pivotal role in ensuring data integrity, accuracy of migration activities, and seamless integration across HR/payroll systems.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, design, and execute test cases for Workforce Management (WFM) and payroll systems.
  • Validate complex data migration activities, focusing on payroll accuracy and reconciliation.
  • Perform SQL queries for backend verification, ensuring data completeness and consistency.
  • Test functional, system integration, and end-to-end workflows across payroll/WFM systems.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
  • Provide detailed reporting on test outcomes, defects, and risks to project leadership.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in defect triage.

Skillset:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Quality Engineer on large-scale enterprise projects.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kronos or UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM) systems.
  • Solid SQL skills, including writing complex queries for data validation.
  • Extensive experience in data migration projects (payroll focus).
  • End-to-end testing experience across functional, integration, and UAT phases.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery models.
