Leadership Opportunity: Driving Student Success

We are seeking a visionary leader to drive initiatives that support and enhance educational outcomes for all students. This pivotal role will align closely with the vision of the Early Childhood and State Schools Division, ensuring its integration into strategic school planning and everyday practice.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in fostering continuous improvement in the quality of teaching and learning, creating an environment where both students and educators can thrive. Central to this role will be nurturing strong, positive relationships among students, teachers, and the wider community, promoting a supportive and inclusive school culture that enables every learner to succeed.

About The Role
  • Provide leadership and guidance for the implementation of innovative measures aimed at improving student learning outcomes and attendance in schools where a significant percentage of students may have a disadvantaged background.
  • Prepare data returns for the Principal as requested.
  • Develop and implement management and engagement strategies, including induction activities for new arrivals, and advise on specific academic, social and emotional needs of new arrivals.
  • Monitor students' individual performance and behaviour, developing intervention strategies where necessary.
