**About the Role**

We are seeking a skilled Education Program Developer to join our team at NRM Environmental Jobs. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality education and learning opportunities that support and enhance an understanding of flora and fauna.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and deliver education programs for booked groups, public programs, and volunteer guides.
  • Design, source, prepare, and maintain program materials, including educational resources and activities.
  • Evaluate education program feedback, participate in project teams, and support the development of key partnerships.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for enquiries and bookings, ensuring a positive, engaging, and timely customer experience.
  • Maintain spaces, materials, and resources used in the delivery of programs to a high standard.
  • Collaborate with staff to implement the Geelong Botanic Garden website and social media platforms.

**Requirements**

  • Relevant qualification in teaching, education, or a related discipline, such as a post-trade certificate or other post-secondary qualification.
  • Experience in developing targeted education programs and resource kits.
  • Demonstrated teaching skills and experience in preparing and delivering educational programs and materials for various age and skill levels.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Victorian and/or National curriculum and its framework.
  • Proficient and professional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the role of botanic gardens and living plant collections.
  • Current Working with Children Check (Employee).
