Workshop Technician

About this Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Technician to join our team in Melbourne, working Monday to Friday, 8am - 4.30pm.

Duties:

  • Maintain and improve workshop facilities, ensuring all equipment is well-maintained and functioning optimally.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and report on repairs required, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Complete assessments and reports for resale products, meeting quality control standards.
  • Build and install products with training provided, enhancing technical skills.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, promoting a healthy and productive workplace.

Requirements:

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to follow procedures, ensuring smooth workflow.
  • Physical fitness to lift up to 15kg, supporting efficient task completion.
  • A keen eye for detail and willingness to learn new skills, fostering professional growth.
  • Experience with mechanical fitting and hand/power tools, providing a solid foundation for success.
  • Forklift license (not essential), offering flexibility in job requirements.
