Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies tailored to the transport industry.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements.
- Post job openings on various platforms and manage responses.
- SOURCE candidates through networking, referrals, and recruitment events.
- Conduct interviews, assessments, and reference checks to evaluate candidate suitability.
- Maintain a pipeline of candidates for future openings.
- Provide an excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Stay updated on industry trends and labor market conditions to adapt recruitment strategies.
- Collaborate with HR to support onboarding and retention initiatives.
- Been involved within transport recruitment for a minimum of 2 yrs in the sourcing of drivers from HR to MC licence classifications in a high-paced environment.
- Proven experience as a recruiter, in the transport or logistics industry.
- A solid understanding of Transport industry requirements and equipment.
- Experienced in recruiting Truck Drivers HR / HC / MC – Double / Triple road train operators.
- Strong understanding of transport roles, industry standards, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and recruitment software.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
