Nurse Unit Manager Job Summary

The position of Nurse Unit Manager in the Urology and Robotics department is available for an experienced professional. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading operating services, managing resources, and staff within the unit.

Key responsibilities include coordinating efficient use of operating sessions, managing clinical processes, maintaining open communication with other teams, and promoting quality activities.

Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Nurse Unit Manager in Urology and Robotics
  • Demonstrated management skills with ability to take initiative in resolving issues and problems
  • Effective stakeholder management skills, ensuring multiple agendas are working efficiently
  • Flexibility and adaptiveness to changing circumstances while managing priority cases
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills across multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to motivate team members through difficult situations and provide effective training and development
  • Knowledge of contemporary nursing and health care trends, issues and directions
  • Evidence of professional development commensurate with autonomy and authority expected of the position
