Job Opportunity:
  We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Therapeutic Programs Coordinator. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering therapeutic and criminogenic programs to inmates.

Job Description:

This role involves assessing inmate suitability and maintaining accurate documentation of progress. You will also be responsible for evaluating and recommending strategies to improve participant attendance while considering individual needs.

In addition, you will liaise with multidisciplinary teams and participate in ongoing training and development. Your primary goal will be to promote rehabilitation initiatives and contribute to reducing reoffending.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A qualification in Psychology, Criminology, Social Work, Social Sciences, Community Services, or a related discipline;
  • A Certificate IV in Correctional Practice (Case Management) or completion within the first 24 months of employment;
  • Ability to prepare and submit accurate reports within required timeframes;
  • Experience in group facilitation, preferably dealing with complex mental health or behavioral issues (desired).
