Leading Audit Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join our team. As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for leading a diverse client portfolio, specialising in public sector, owner-managed businesses, small to mid-cap ASX listed entities, large proprietary companies, Australian subsidiaries of foreign-owned groups, and not-for-profits.

This is a genuine leadership role focused on fostering a positive team environment through mentorship, guidance, and support. You will lead a team of talented professionals and play an active role in driving new business opportunities, continuously improving audit methodologies and practices, and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality audit and related services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of auditors in planning, executing, and reporting on statutory audits
  • Assess business and related risks, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and ensuring their needs are met
  • Stay up-to-date with local and international audit standards, including IFRS, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in auditing, preferably in a leadership role
  • Strong technical knowledge of audit standards, including IFRS
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification
