Mobile Echocardiographer Role

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Echocardiographer to join our team. As a Mobile Echocardiographer, you will be responsible for performing echocardiography studies for patients in various service locations throughout the local community.

Your primary goal will be to deliver high-quality patient care while providing excellent customer service. You will work closely with our medical team to ensure that all patients receive accurate and timely diagnoses.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform echocardiography studies for patients in various settings, including private residences, senior care facilities, and hospitals.
  • Demonstrate understanding of cardiac disease processes to obtain complete acquisition of images for clinical diagnosis by the interpreting cardiologist.
  • Operate portable ultrasonic equipment with cardiac capabilities at patient's bedside or other designated exam settings.
  • Prepare images for reading by radiologist or requesting physician.
  • Transmit images and all required associated documentation to cardiologist in a timely manner according to company protocols.
  • Take good care of vehicle; ensures that the vehicle is well stocked with necessary supplies prior to each shift.

Requirements:

To qualify as a Mobile Echocardiographer, you must meet all state-specific and federal requirements for training, education, competency, certification, and state license to perform, including one or more of the following:

  • Adult Cardiac Sonographer with a satisfactory completion of an accredited non-invasive cardiovascular training program, with a focus in adult echocardiography, abdominal, and vascular ultrasound studies.
  • ARDMS registered in adult echocardiography with RDCS (AE) designation OR CCI registered with Cardiac Sonographer designation required.
