
Autonomous Systems Development Lead

Responsibilities include leading the design and implementation of perception and planning algorithms, utilizing advanced techniques in computer vision, sensor fusion, and machine learning to enhance system capabilities. Additionally, the Senior Robotics Engineer will contribute to the development of software that runs on- and off-platform, collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective system integration and testing, and conduct thorough testing and validation of perception and planning algorithms through simulation and real-world experiments.
The successful candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience, and be proficient in C++ and/or Python software development. Experience with autonomous vehicle hardware and sensors such as sonar, LIDAR, and cameras is also required. Familiarity with system engineering concepts, simulation tools, and frameworks such as Gazebo, Unity, or Unreal Engine is a plus.
