Role Overview:

Department Manager

This role is responsible for leading a team of direct reports, providing coaching and development opportunities to help them grow in their careers. As a Department Manager, you will be accountable for driving business performance outcomes through effective leadership and customer service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of direct reports, setting an example of best practice and supporting them to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Coach the team on key skills and competencies, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Assist with inducting and training new team members, helping them to settle into their roles quickly.
  • Ensure that merchandising standards are maintained, aligning with business requirements and visual merchandising plans.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, communicating effectively with colleagues and customers alike.
