Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the team with high quality food preparation and presentation for all service periods
  • Exposure to various service styles including à la carte, buffet, room service and functions
  • Rotation through different kitchens including restaurant, events and pastry
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment
  • Flexible approach in adapting to guest requests
  • Liaise with Food and Beverage Attendants
  • Prepare food and mise en place
  • Work according to a daily production sheet
  • Monitor portion size and wastage
  • Be actively involved in learning your trade
  • Clean equipment and working area after service
Essential Qualifications
  • A genuine passion for food and cooking
  • Reliability, punctuality and attention to detail
  • Currently studying or enrolled to study in hospitality
  • A willingness to learn and take instruction from experienced chefs
  • Ability to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays
  • Australian Citizenship
