Motion Graphics Specialist

Job Summary:

As a skilled Animator at Industrial Light & Magic, you will be responsible for creating high-quality motion graphics and computer-generated characters, creatures, and objects within a shot. You will work under the supervision of Senior Level and Animation Supervisors, utilizing a variety of animation software programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and animate complex scenes, ensuring consistency and quality throughout.
  • Collaborate with team members to determine aesthetic solutions and provide feedback on a regular basis.
  • Maintain productivity while meeting deadlines and producing high-quality work.
  • Support and mentor junior animators, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
  • Perform other tasks related to the creation of computer-generated animation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Traditional Animation or equivalent, with 3 years of experience, or at least 5 years of experience in cel, stop motion, or computer animation.
  • Proficiency in Linux and expert understanding of Maya and other software programs.
