As a Rehabilitation Career Specialist, you will utilize your clinical expertise to facilitate the recovery of individuals who have experienced work-related physical and psychological injuries.

Using a comprehensive approach, you will coordinate clients' rehabilitation journeys from injury assessment to successful return-to-work outcomes. You will collaborate with clients to develop, implement, and monitor their personalized rehabilitation plans, supporting them in achieving fulfilling careers.

You will be part of a team that provides support services to Defence Force personnel who have suffered injury, illness, or trauma. This includes facilitating their transition back to full fitness and military readiness, enabling them to defend and protect Australia effectively.

  • A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy is preferred; however, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Psychologists, Nurses, and Social Workers are also considered.
  • Current unrestricted registration or membership with relevant industry bodies is required.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and ability to engage effectively across multidisciplinary teams are essential.
  • Experience in conducting various clinical assessments and a passion for helping people recover are necessary.
