Purpose-Driven Role: Accounts Payable Officer
\The purpose of this role is to support the accounts team by processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices accurately and within a timely manner.
\This position involves working with a small team responsible for running the accounts payable function, ensuring invoices are processed into our accounting system with relevant approvals.
\Key Responsibilities:

- Matching supplier invoices against purchase orders\
- Processing supplier invoices, including liaison with business departments for approvals\
- Processing bi-monthly payment runs\
- Liaising with suppliers and managing supplier statements\
- Setting up new suppliers and maintaining updated supplier records\
- Ad hoc tasks as required\
- Maintaining accurate financial records and reports\
- Providing excellent customer service to suppliers and internal stakeholders\
- Working collaboratively with the accounts team to ensure smooth operations\
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations\
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity\
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers\
- Managing cash flow and ensuring timely payments to suppliers\
- Preparing and analyzing financial reports and data\
- Providing support during peak periods and special projects\
- Staying up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations affecting accounts payable\
- Performing other duties as required\
