Heavy Diesel Mechanic Position

We are seeking a skilled and trade-certified diesel mechanic to fill a key position in our Melbourne workshop.
About the Role:The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out diagnostic, repairs, and maintenance on new and used equipment, adhering to manufacturer specifications and efficiency targets.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnostics and repair of complex diesel equipment.
- Pre-delivery inspections and testing of new equipment.
- Maintenance of a safe working environment.
- Completion of relevant paperwork and reports.
- Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent trade qualification.
- Strong commitment to safety and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety principles.
- Effective communication skills and ability to provide high-quality work.
- Teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Competitive hourly rate ($48 per hour) with potential for overtime and bonuses.
- Flexible roster (9 day fortnight) and permanent full-time position.
