Network Solutions Specialist

A highly successful and fast-growing MSP in Melbourne's South East is looking to take on a senior network specialist. The position will be involved in a mix of project and business-as-usual (BAU) work, requiring the individual to meet with customers, understand their requirements, and design and implement networking solutions in a client-centric approach.

Main Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of network-related solutions.
  • Work closely with other senior engineers to design and implement projects.
  • Lead migrations, deployments, and rollouts of FortiGate firewalls and SD-WAN solutions.
  • Lead wireless and voice projects (Ubiquiti, Access4).
  • Act as a technical lead to develop junior and aspiring network engineers.
  • Resolve complex technical queries as a senior escalation point.
  • Ensure quality documentation of work.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years' experience as a network engineer.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing solutions.
  • Previous MSP/customer-facing experience.
  • Senior-level routing and switching ability - Fortinet.
  • Hands-on experience with NGFW - Fortigate.
  • Experience mentoring or leading junior engineers is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Industry certifications are highly regarded - Fortinet, Cisco.
