**Become a Teaching Champion**: We are looking for passionate and experienced educators to join our network of ambassadors.

We believe that the best teachers are those who live and breathe their profession every day. As a Teach Queensland Ambassador, you will have the opportunity to share your experiences, learnings and opportunities with aspiring, preservice, beginning and experienced teachers.

- Share your professional and personal stories with teachers from different backgrounds and experience levels;
- Engage with preservice teachers considering their employment options and undertaking professional experience in Queensland state schools;
- Inspire secondary students to consider teaching as a career option;
- Represent us at career and employment events, locally, state-wide, online and on occasions interstate;
- Attend annual career fairs and contribute to teacher attraction initiatives;

**Your Availability**: We are establishing a network of approximately 30 state school teachers and leaders across Queensland. The number of activities each ambassador will participate in across the year will differ depending on factors such as availability, type of activities and target audiences.

**Requirements**: To be eligible, you must meet the following requirements:

- Employed permanently as a teacher or school leader in a Queensland state school for at least three years;
- Have taught in at least two different school communities; Experience in rural, remote and regional communities will be highly regarded;
- Confident speaking with large and small groups of teachers; and
- Have the support of your line manager/supervisor and/or school leader.

You'll also need to complete a questionnaire and confirm your support from your line manager or principal.
