Opportunity for Automotive Electrician Development

The role offers a structured four-year apprenticeship program commencing in January.

You will be based in our Perth workshop, rotating through different repair sections in the first year.

In the second year, you will continue in the workshop and participate in short-term introductions to site-based work.

During the third and fourth years, you will broaden your learning by working in our Field Service and Site-based teams along with Component Rebuilds in our workshop.

As an Automotive Electrician, you will assist and work alongside our tradesmen to gain the skills and knowledge required for a successful career in Mobile Plant and Equipment Maintenance with a Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the maintenance and servicing of plant and equipment
  • Work alongside tradespeople to develop hands-on skills in Mobile Plant and Equipment Maintenance
  • Participate in a four-year structured apprenticeship program starting in Perth
  • Contribute to safety and reliability standards to ensure equipment is repaired and maintained for efficient project delivery
Essential Qualifications and Skills
  • Successful completion of Year 12 education and pre-apprenticeship training or relevant work experience in the chosen trade
  • Proven commitment to safety
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Must be able to make daily arrangements for travel to the work location
  • First Aid Certificate is desirable
  • Highly motivated and driven to achieve desired outcomes
  • Basic computer skills
  • Able to follow direction and undertake tasks as directed
