We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Developer to join our team at the Country Road Group. As a Senior Product Developer, you will play a key role in leading the development of our products, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring our designs to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Development Leadership
    • Lead a team of Product Developers to design, develop, and deliver high-quality products that meet our brand's aesthetic and quality standards.
    • Collaborate with Product Technicians and Designers to ensure seamless product development and delivery.
  • Quality and Cost Management
    • Ensure that products are designed and developed to meet our quality and cost targets.
    • Work with vendors and suppliers to negotiate costs and ensure that products are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including brand teams, vendors, and suppliers, to ensure that product development is aligned with business objectives.
    • Provide regular updates and progress reports to stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Team Leadership and Development
    • Lead and develop a team of Product Developers to build their skills and capabilities.
    • Provide coaching, mentoring, and feedback to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor of Fashion/Textiles or equivalent tertiary design qualification.
    • Previous Senior Product Technician experience in apparel.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Fabric knowledge and garment construction.
    • Exposure to Adobe suite and PLM.
    • Ability to lead and drive teams.
    • Exceptional time management skills.
    • Detail-oriented and accountable to deliverables.
