About Our Luxury Hotel
We're a leading hotel in Sydney, offering exceptional service and unforgettable experiences to our guests.
As a Banquets Team Leader, you'll be responsible for overseeing the daily food and beverage operations, ensuring they meet guest expectations through efficient and friendly services.
This role requires strong interpersonal skills, revenue growth initiatives, cost control, and delivering total customer satisfaction.
- Ensure seamless, professional food and beverage services to all guests.
- Provide an exceptional experience and environment that meets guests' expectations.
- Familiarize yourself with VIP and regular guests to ensure their requests and needs are met.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas, and pool spaces.
- Liaise with customers and the kitchen team to ensure timely service.
- Account for revenue during the shift and complete financial summaries to balance daily activities.
- Manage restaurant and bar equipment, record breakages, and conduct regular stock audits.
Requirements
- RSA certification.
- Strong knowledge of beverages, including beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails.
- Micros expertise desirable.
- Experience or formal training in hospitality, including working in a 5-star hotel or fast-paced restaurant.
