About the Position

Located at our Derwent Field Centre in Seven Mile Beach, you will be responsible for overseeing field centre infrastructure and facilities. This involves maintaining equipment and ensuring that operations run smoothly. As part of this role, you may also be required to undertake tasks such as firefighting, wildlife management, track maintenance, and visitor asset management.

The role requires strong technical skills and experience in plant and equipment operation, building construction, and maintenance. Additionally, a Certificate II in Conservation and Land Management or equivalent qualification is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and improve field centre infrastructure
  • Undertake various tasks such as firefighting and wildlife management
Requirements:
  • A Workplace Level 2 First Aid Certificate
  • Experience in plant and equipment operation and building construction/maintenance
  • Certificate II in Conservation and Land Management or equivalent qualification
