Accounting Leader Role

This leadership position involves overseeing financial processes and teams, providing expert insights to support business decision-making. As an accounting manager, you will lead by example with a strong focus on compliance, reporting, budgeting, and continuous improvement.

  • Lead and manage accounting teams.
  • Deliver high-level financial analysis and strategic advice.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and expenditure management.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting aligned with US and Australian standards.
  • Drive process improvements and risk minimisation strategies.
  • Manage statutory obligations including BAS, FBT, PAYG, and GST.
  • Coordinate annual audits and financial reporting (US and local).
  • Support internal audit and SOX compliance.
  • Contribute to board reporting and Power BI analytics.
  • Assist with payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and vehicle fleet management.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business, or Accounting.
  • CA/CPA qualified.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting roles.
  • Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance, and reporting.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools (Power BI desirable).
