The role of an Early Childhood Educator is to nurture the uniqueness of each child, providing an early learning experience that prepares them for life.
As a key professional, you will develop strong relationships with children and their families, creating a positive learning environment where children feel safe, valued, and supported in their learning journey.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop the Children's Program, reflecting Early Years Learning Framework guidelines
- Maintain a safe environment for staff and children, adhering to OH&S Policy
- Liaise with families about daily happenings and maintain accurate records
- Monitor and record individual children's progress
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA equivalent)
- A Current Working with Children Check
- A First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one
- An excellent understanding of the National Quality Framework
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
