Job Title:

Wanted Dewatering Mechanic for Routine Servicing and Maintenance

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled dewatering mechanic to perform routine servicing and maintenance on generators and diesel pumps.

The ideal candidate will have experience with diesel trade, light/heavy vehicle maintenance, and a strong background in mechanical repair and maintenance.

The role involves working independently and as part of a team to prioritize and attend to breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for diagnosing and fault-finding, inspecting and maintaining multistage bore pumps, centrifugal pumps, fire pumps, and isolation and control valves.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in diesel trade, light/heavy vehicle maintenance
  • Strong mechanical repair and maintenance skills
  • Prioritization and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
