About the Job


We are seeking a Technical Assessor/Validator to manage daily activities of insurer clients in Australia. In this role, you will be responsible for providing building scoping, validation of charges, and assessing overall viability of projects. You will use an industry-leading platform to validate builder services via our network or client's network. The ideal candidate will have a background in technical property claim assessing, building trade service and/or construction sectors.


Main Responsibilities
  • Triage and allocate service requests to our national specialist network.
  • Validate scope, including cost check, methodology auditing, and overall job relevance.
  • Manage relationships with builders, insurers, insurance assessors, building estimators, and all relevant stakeholders involved in a building project.
  • Meet and exceed internal validation or project management KPIs, including productivity, quality, and accuracy.
  • Communicate with clients to keep them updated on service progress.
  • Ensure quality and cost assurance reviews for all building requests.
  • Work with team manager to maintain network performance and capacity.

You'll Bring


  • 3-5 years of experience and proven abilities in previous property claim and/or construction roles.
  • Self-motivation and customer orientation with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Effective time and project management skills.
  • Ability to make responsible and effective decisions and communicate efficiently – both written and verbally.
  • Capability to meet targets and handle high-pressure environment.
  • Results-driven, striving to meet and exceed our KPIs.
  • Applicants with insurance assessing and/or insurance repair, restoration, building trades backgrounds are highly desirable. A Builders License or other Building Qualifications will also be highly regarded.
