Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist veterinarians with consultations, surgeries, and medical procedures.
  • Provide compassionate care and monitoring for hospitalized pets.
  • Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by veterinarians.
  • Perform diagnostic tests, including blood work and radiography.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and manage client communications.
  • Educate pet owners on preventive care and post-treatment instructions.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment for pets and staff.
  • Participate in inventory management and ordering of supplies.
Requirements:
  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional patient and client care.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
