Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on individual to work on engines and related components at customer sites with minimal supervision. As an Engine Field Service Mechanic, you will be responsible for completing preventative maintenance and basic repair activities, ensuring prompt and efficient attention to customer needs, and escalating unresolved issues to more experienced technicians.

About the Role:

  • Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on engines and related components at customer sites.
  • Engage with customers in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring prompt and efficient attention to their needs.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to more experienced technicians and/or supervisors.
  • Maintain service vehicles and tools for cleanliness and proper operation.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislations.

Requirements:

  • Australian recognized Trade certificate (heavy or light vehicle) is preferred.
  • Previous experience in repairs and maintenance of marine, power generation, on-highway truck, mining, construction, or agriculture applications is desirable but not essential.
  • Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products is required.
  • Current driver's license is mandatory.
