Disability Support Worker Role

We are seeking reliable and outgoing individuals to support, engage and motivate customers to achieve their goals.

This is a rewarding role that involves providing personal care, assisting with medications, manual handling and challenging behaviours. If you have a strong passion for delivering high-quality 1:1 support and making a positive impact in people's lives, we want to hear from you.

  • The role requires you to commit to regular and consistent shift schedules including day/ night, weekend and Public Holiday shifts.
  • You will be supporting individuals of all ages with intellectual impairments, mental health and/or physical disabilities.
  • Your key skills and qualifications include outstanding interpersonal, communication and resilience skills, experience providing personal care and assisting with medications, manual handling and challenging behaviours.
  • You must be adaptable and creative when working with different individuals to assist them achieve their goals.
Mandatory Requirements
  • You must have a minimum Cert III or higher in a relevant field.
  • You must have at least 12 months paid experience working in a similar role.
  • You must hold a QLD PAID Blue Card/ Working with Children Check.
  • You must hold a PAID (P) NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
  • You must hold a current First Aid Certificate.
  • You must hold a current CPR Certificate.
  • You must be able to provide 100 points of ID including evidence of work rights in Australia.
  • You must hold a current National Police Check.
  • You must be COVID vaccinated.
  • You must hold an unrestricted Open QLD Driver Licence.
  • You must have own reliable transport for work purposes.
