Our Canberra-based team is looking for a dynamic News Editor to join the Parliamentary Press Gallery in Australian Parliament House.

We require a recent Graduate in Law, Politics or Media looking for an alternative career path; OR an Editor with prior content production, copy editing or publishing experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Anticipate & Alert: Deliver real-time, accurate news updates to subscribers.
  • Write Smart: Craft concise, topical and engaging editorials that keep pace with parliamentary activity.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Ensure top-notch content quality and comprehensive coverage.
  • Customer Support: Assist subscribers with research queries and content needs.
