We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Team Leader to join our team at Elements of Byron, an award-winning luxury resort nestled on fifty acres of absolute beach front paradise. As a Housekeeping Team Leader, you will be responsible for the cleaning and servicing of guest rooms, checking and releasing rooms once they have been cleaned, and training of new staff to ensure that our rooms meet our high standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Supervise and motivate a customer-focused team to deliver exceptional housekeeping services.
- Work closely with the Room Division Manager to build and develop a strong and effective team.
- Ensure that all guest rooms are cleaned and serviced to the highest standards.
- Train new staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional housekeeping services.
- Monitor and maintain the quality and standards of housekeeping services.
**Requirements:**
- Previous supervisor or team leadership experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate a customer-focused team.
- Well-presented with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Availability to work a minimum of 4 days a week.
- Experience working within a luxury hotel/resort environment.
- Strong organizational skills with a clear focus on quality and standards.
- Attention to detail.
- Knowledge and understanding of chemical handling.
- Experience with resort buggies and a current driver's license.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and public holidays.
