Trainee Retail Store Leader

We're looking for an ambitious and customer-focused individual to join our retail team as a Trainee Retail Store Leader. This exciting role offers the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in store management, customer service, and leadership.

About the Role:

">

The Trainee Retail Store Leader will work alongside an experienced store manager to learn and develop their skills in managing the financial performance of the store, building and coaching a high-performing team, ensuring plans and strategies are effectively deployed to drive sales growth, reducing shrinkage and expenses, providing clear direction to the management team, enhancing the overall customer experience, maintaining a well-organized and efficient warehouse, and controlling team rosters.

Key Responsibilities:

">

- Manage the financial performance of the store, including budgeting and forecasting
- Build and coach a high-performing team, developing their skills and knowledge to achieve business objectives
- Implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and reduce costs
- Maintain a well-organized and efficient warehouse, ensuring stock control and inventory management
- Control team rosters, ensuring adequate staffing levels and coverage
- Develop and maintain relationships with team members, peers, customers, and leaders

Requirements:

- 1 year of experience in sales or similar sales roles in a high-volume retail environment
- Experience coaching and leading diverse teams, implementing business and individual development strategies, or willing to learn
- Ability to foster strong relationships with team members, peers, customers, and leaders
- Demonstrated experience in budget and financial management, including wage and stock control
