About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Spare Parts Coordinator to join our team at Hitachi Global Air Power Australia (Sullair). As a key member of our local service team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and processing spare parts orders for our internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Process Spare Parts Orders: Look up manuals to identify the correct parts and interpret customer requirements, then process the orders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Support Service Technicians: Assist service technicians with their parts requirements, ensuring they have the necessary materials to complete their tasks efficiently.
  • Customer Service Activities: Perform customer service activities, including enquiry, quotation, and sales order processing of spare parts, to provide excellent service to our customers.
  • Purchase Requisitions: Process purchase requisitions for non-standard parts using their respective part numbers, ensuring timely delivery of parts to our customers.
  • Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and load customer orders, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of spare parts.
Requirements
  • Interest in Mechanical/Industrial Spare Parts: You should have a genuine interest in interpreting mechanical/industrial spare parts and be able to learn how to book in jobs, order, and/or sort parts.
  • Computer Skills: You should be confident using the computer and have previous exposure to SAP, although this is not essential.
  • Attention to Detail: You should have high attention to detail and be well-organized with good time management skills.
  • Forklift License: You should have a forklift license or be willing to obtain one.
