Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Drafting and Review:
    • Draft, review, and revise various types of technology consulting contracts, including but not limited to, MSAs, consultancy agreements, SOWs, and vendor contracts.
    • Ensure contracts comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
    • Identify potential risks and propose necessary changes or amendments to minimise legal exposure.
  • Contract Management:
    • Operate within a contract management system which maintains a centralised database of contracts, tracks key dates, renewals, and amendments.
    • Monitor contract performance and compliance, communicating with relevant stakeholders to ensure contractual obligations are met.
    • Coordinate with various internal stakeholders to facilitate timely contract execution in line with agreed SLAs.
  • Communication and Coordination:
    • Act as a liaison between the legal team and internal departments, external parties, and clients to facilitate the contract negotiation process.
    • Communicate complex legal terms and concepts in a clear and understandable manner to non-legal staff.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Assist in organising and maintaining the internal contract management system, including contract templates and forms.
    • Be an internal champion for the internal contract management system, and assist users in the use and operation of the system.

Working Conditions:

  • This is a permanent, full-time role based in Sydney, but open to Melbourne, Brisbane, or Canberra.
  • The successful candidate will be required to work onsite.
