Lead Infrastructure Engineer

This is a high profile engineering opportunity for a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join our transport team. We are currently delivering multiple significant transport infrastructure projects across Australia.

The role involves working autonomously and providing direction to project staff, bidding teams, and interfacing with multiple disciplines and project leaders. The successful candidate will develop strong client relationships and work with the bidding team to secure new projects.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant experience on high value and complex rail infrastructure projects. A Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) accreditation or working towards this is highly desirable.

Key responsibilities include design management, checking and verifying, mentoring and coaching others, as well as contributing to bids and tenders.

  • Relevant software experience e.g., MicroStation, BRT/Open Rail proficient
  • Ability to work well within multi-disciplinary teams and alliances
Required Skills & Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications are required:

  • Relevant and accredited bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Demonstrated local experience on high value and complex rail infrastructure projects
  • Obtained Designer and Checker Competencies with the various ARO's including MTM and VLine
