High-Risk Interventional Cardiology Specialist Position
About the Role:This is a challenging and rewarding position for an experienced Interventional Cardiologist to join our highly skilled cardiology team at Launceston General Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out high-volume complex coronary interventions and structural heart work in a state-of-the-art facility with two new cath labs planned under the Northern Heart Centre development
- Contribute to the continued growth and innovation of the department by participating in clinical research, audit, and quality improvement activities
- Optional private practice sessions at Calvary St Vincent's private cath lab are available for those who wish to expand their clinical experience
Requirements:
- Fellowship-trained Interventional Cardiologist eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia
- Substantial experience in complex coronary and/or structural interventions
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team and contribute to a positive work environment
