Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in providing exceptional catering services to residents. In this role, you will make a meaningful difference each day by preparing healthy and delicious meals under the guidance of our experienced Chef.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver outstanding service support to our Chef/Cook while maintaining high standards in food preparation and presentation.
  2. Prepare daily meals and beverages tailored to individual resident needs, including special dietary requirements and allergies as instructed by the Chef or Cook.
  3. Ensure a safe and clean living environment for residents by adhering to environmental service standards and completing food safety records accurately.
  4. Prevent cross-contamination and maintain a high level of cleanliness at all times, in accordance with the National Food Safety Program.
  5. Present nutritious meals in an appealing manner and serve at the appropriate temperature.
  6. Prepare meal trays and trolleys according to the Calvary National Dining and Nutrition Guide.
Requirements
  • Current Food Handlers Certificate
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • High standards of food preparation and presentation
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Current Covid-19 vaccinations, including booster (unless assessed exempt)
  • A genuine desire to contribute to a caring community
