About the Role:
As a key member of our office-based team, you will be responsible for the remote commissioning and maintenance of metering systems within the National Electricity Market (NEM). Your duties will include:
- Coordinating with installation contractors, inspectors, and network operators for new metering installations.
- Validating the accuracy and integrity of metering systems.
- Providing technical support to customers and service providers.
- Assisting in the planning and deployment of innovative metering technologies.
- Investigating and resolving metering system defects.
- Applying Energy Queensland policies across various jurisdictions.

About You:
To excel in this position, you will need:
- A Queensland Electrical Licensing Board Certificate of Competency as an Electrical Fitter Mechanic.
- Proven knowledge of safety protocols and the operation and maintenance of metering installations.
- Experience in installing, testing, and troubleshooting complex metering systems.
- Familiarity with relevant legislation and regulations, including the Electricity Act & Regulations and Workplace Health & Safety Act.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster effective relationships with team members and external stakeholders.
- A willingness to travel as required.
- A current 'C' class open Driver's License.
