About This Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your expertise in health safety and wellbeing to drive positive change across a dynamic organization. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and assuring health, safety, and wellbeing systems, collaborating with passionate professionals committed to leading by example.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of health safety management systems, including ISO 45001 and relevant Australian legislation. They will be responsible for ensuring continuous improvement of the Health and Safety Management System, driving compliance and a proactive safety culture throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute assurance programs, including audits, inspections, and reviews.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective execution of audits and other initiatives.
  • Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of HSMS aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure legislative compliance and communicate changing governance requirements to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with leaders and staff to educate them on health safety and wellbeing requirements, fostering a shared understanding and ownership of these critical areas.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to operational teams, providing guidance on HSMS matters and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
