Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Solicitor to join our esteemed Workplace Relations & Safety team in Sydney. This role presents a unique opportunity to engage with complex legal challenges in the fields of employment and safety law.
Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will possess:
- 2 – 4 Years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE);
- Proven experience in a reputable employment and safety law firm;
- Comprehensive knowledge in providing legal advice on employment and safety issues, along with litigation experience;
- Familiarity with safety legislation and risk management principles;
- Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal abilities;
- A proactive approach to contributing to the growth of the practice.
Role Responsibilities
As part of our Workplace Relations & Safety team, you will advise on various legal matters pertaining to large-scale construction and mining operations. Your role will involve:
- Collaborating with clients to navigate intricate workplace relations and safety challenges;
- Gaining hands-on experience through client interactions and site visits;
- Representing clients in safety and regulatory prosecutions.
