Job Overview:

The role of Senior Data Operations Engineer involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable and robust data platforms for Integration Platform teams.

You will be responsible for developing real-time data streaming, distribution, and secure file transfer platforms using Confluent Platform and CrushFTP.

This is a hands-on engineering and operations role that ensures high availability, resilience, and security of real-time data platforms.

Automation for provisioning, monitoring, and scaling the platforms will be built using AWS Services (EC2, S3, EKS, IAM) and tools like Terraform, Ansible, and GitLab.

Incident response, including root cause analysis and resolution, is also part of the operations aspect of the role.

Deploy, operate, and manage data streaming and distribution platforms. Perform day-to-day platform operations.

Remediate aged asset and security risks. Build out standard operating procedures.

Work with cross-functional teams to operate, manage, and maintain ASX's Data platforms.

Configure, deploy, and manage observability components for operational reporting and capacity management of ASX's data platforms using OpenTelemetry, ServiceNow Observability, Grafana, and ELK.

Excellent technical and problem-solving skills are required, along with a proven record of delivering technical solutions that meet set requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and robust data platforms.
  • Develop real-time data streaming, distribution, and secure file transfer platforms.
  • Implement automation for provisioning, monitoring, and scaling the platforms.
  • Manage incident response, including root cause analysis and resolution.
