Job DescriptionWe seek a skilled Technician to join our team, responsible for delivering expert service and support to valued customers. In this key role, you will handle service, fault-finding, repairs and commissioning activities both on-site and in the workshop, ensuring hydraulic systems operate at peak performance.
This is a hands-on role suited to a technician with passion for problem-solving, strong technical ability and commitment to safety and quality. You will work independently and as part of a close-knit team, representing us on customer sites and building trusted relationships with our clients.
Key responsibilities include:
Respond to external service requests; perform fault-finding, repairs and preventative maintenance on hydraulic systems.
Install, commission and test large hydraulic projects, ensuring high-quality standards and system performance.
Prepare quotations and manage documentation (service reports, quality records, client deliverables).
Conduct proactive system analysis and recommend maintenance or modernisation solutions to customers.
Identify spare parts and service opportunities to support ongoing customer needs and drive service growth.
Maintain strong customer relationships through professional service delivery and regular client engagement.
QualificationsPosition Requirements:
Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen
Trade qualification as a Hydraulic Fitter (or equivalent)
Previous experience in field service and/or hydraulic system maintenance
Strong hydraulic system knowledge and diagnostic ability
High attention to quality, safety and detail
Proactive and results-driven mindset
Strong planning and organisational skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
