About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Casual Educator to join our team at Capital Region Community Services Ltd. As an Educator, you will work closely with the Director and other team members to provide high-quality education and care to children and families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hold a qualification in Education and Care or be working towards completing this course.
  • Obtain First Aid and CPR certification or be willing to do so prior to commencement.
  • Complete Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management training.
  • Undertake Food Safety, Handling and Hygiene training.
  • Engage children in activities that are responsive and tailored to their interests and abilities.
  • Develop appropriate and sustained relationships with children.
  • Demonstrate awareness of the rights of the child.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, children, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate awareness of mandatory reporting obligations.
  • Follow directions and undertake tasks at all levels.

Requirements

  • Hold or be willing to obtain a satisfactory Working with Vulnerable People registration (ACT) and/or a Working with Children Check (NSW).
  • Undertake a National Criminal History Clearance by CRCS prior to commencing and every three years thereafter.
