The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our team in Melbourne or Sydney. This senior role will involve collaborating with principal and senior-level engineers to deliver solutions across a variety of engineering projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in structural design and analysis, with experience in project management and business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop concept and schematic designs for a range of general structures
- Conduct detailed analysis, design computations, and constructability reviews
- Peer review of detailed calculations, technical reports, and design concepts
- Coordinate and participate in design discussions with other project team consultants, architects, and clients
- Visit construction sites to perform inspections and provide engineering advice
- Guide and liaise with design teams to ensure project objectives are met
About You:
- Relevant engineering qualifications and Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership
- At least 5 years of experience in structural design
- Client liaison experience
- Ability to perform planning, concept, and detailed design
- Proficiency in software such as Spacegass/AutoCAD and Strand7
