**Kitchen Hand Job Description**

As a Kitchen Hand, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic work area in our theme park kitchens. This is a casual role working across both Movie World and Sea World Gold Coast.

We are looking for someone with demonstrated cleaning experience to join our team. You will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment, have reliable transport and be willing to work on any day including weekends and nights as required.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in the hospitality industry and take advantage of unlimited free entry to our theme parks and other benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean, safe and hygienic work area
  • Wash and return all kitchenware to its allocated area
  • Empty and clean rubbish bins, sanitise hand basins, clean and sanitise kitchen trolleys, refill hand towel dispensers and hand soap, spray benches with sanitiser and clean kitchen floors
  • Clean cold room doors, seals and flaps, bleach chopping boards, descale dishwasher, clean dry store shelving, clean ice-machines, clean range hoods, defrost and clean chest freezers
  • Assist with event setup and pack down

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated cleaning experience essential
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Reliable transport is required
  • Able to work at any Village Roadshow Theme Park property as required
  • Able to work on any day including weekends and nights
