HammondCare At Home is continuously expanding its services and seeks several permanent part-time Carers to provide support to Clients across the region.
About the Role- You will deliver essential care, enabling older individuals to live independently in their homes and enhance their quality of life.
- The position involves regular travel to clients' homes using your own car for which you'll be reimbursed $0.99 cents per km plus paid travel time.
The care work you'll be doing may include:
- Providing personal assistance - helping with bathing and dressing
- Assisting around the home - meal preparation and light cleaning
- Transporting Clients to appointments and assisting with shopping
- Supporting with medication management
- You possess excellent interpersonal skills and are patient and solution-focused.
- You hold a valid Driver's Licence and access to an insured, reliable car (min. Third Party Property Insurance).
- A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support is highly desirable.
- You're flexible and able to adapt to the changing needs of our Clients.
- $30.42 to $33.15 per hour plus 99c/km + paid travel time + mobile phone provided
- We offer comprehensive training for all our Carers, no experience necessary
- Secure employment on a 14-day perm part-time roster allowing you to plan ahead
- Salary packaging up to $15,900 tax-free
- Fitness Passport membership
- We provide First Aid Certificates and paid training for Certificate III in Aged Care if desired
