- **About the Role**
- A homecare employee is to help and assist customers to maintain their independence and quality of life while remaining in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes. IRT have multiple permanent part time positions for entry-level and experienced home care workers available. For this role, we are looking for:

- **Home Care Workers that have a Cert III in Individual Support or equivalent in the Bermagui and surrounds**
- **Permanent Part-Time contracts available for Weekdays - Monday to Friday between 8am to 5:30pm. Rosters change often so flexibility is key**
- Some duties may include:

**Domestic assistance** duties such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation etc
- Wide range of **Personal care**:

- Assistance to continue to live well and positively (e.g. help at home)
- Engaging in** social activities**: transportation to appointments, shopping and social outings.

**To Be Successful You Will Have**
- Current **Australian Driver's License** and ownership of a reliable **insured car.**:

- Relevant **Certificate III or IV in Individual Support ( Ageing) or equivalent**:

- Current **First Aid Certificate **and **CPR** ( or willing to obtain)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - A second language is also a bonus
- Resilience and ability to work independently
- You're available to work weekdays and weekends
- A big heart, empathy and a passion for supporting older Australians to live their best life
- Live within 15-20 km radius to enjoy a convenient commute and support your local community
