Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Store Manager to join our team. As a Senior Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, building customer relationships, managing store KPIs, and ensuring merchandising standards are at a superior level within your store initially, and then for a cluster of stores.
Key Responsibilities- Take on full 'end to end' store accountability for driving sales, building customer relationships, managing store KPIs, and ensuring merchandising standards are at a superior level within your store initially, then for a cluster of stores
- Influence, motivate, and inspire your 'high-performing' teams to deliver an exceptional retail experience and service to customers that will ensure they keep coming back, every time
- Leverage your solid retail skills to ensure the fundamentals are exceptionally executed, including full stock on shelf, cleanliness, customer service, VM, inventory management, and loss prevention
- Communicate effectively and positively with your talented store team to execute change initiatives and implement new ideas (whether yours or that of your team)
- Be a valued brand ambassador and the 'face' of your store
- Develop relationships in the local community and build on the untapped commercial sales opportunities
- Be consistently improving current systems, processes, and control measures to ensure full retail operational excellence
- You are a credible and engaging Senior Store/Regional/Area/Cluster Manager with a large format/big box retail background. You ideally have multisite experience, however, Senior Store Managers who are at the level ready to step up, will also be considered
- You inspire: You have led and inspired retail teams to achieve success
- You are customer-obsessed: they are centric to everything you do, and in every decision you make
- You drive sales with an upbeat approach and have a natural ability to engage
- You have well-honed operational skills across inventory planning and management, as well as shrewd financial control
