Supply Chain Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage the procurement of Engineering Steel products. As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing and negotiating with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.

Your key responsibilities will include developing and executing sourcing strategies, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and supporting sales forecasting. You will also identify and evaluate international supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and payment terms, and monitor market trends and supply risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for Engineering Steels
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels and support sales forecasting
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage international supplier relationships
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts
  • Monitor market trends, commodity pricing, and supply risks
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years experience in procurement or purchasing
  • Engineering Steels industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management and sourcing practices and processes
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and divisions
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines and adapt to changing market conditions

This role requires strong market awareness, negotiation skills, and the ability to influence purchasing decisions. You will play a key role in planning procurement activities, developing sourcing strategies, and aligning stock levels with business and sales needs.
