The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services, including conducting assessments, planning and implementing individual or group therapeutic activities, and working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete therapy assessments and respond to clinical referrals
- Plan and implement individual or group therapeutic activities, working with an interdisciplinary team to maintain an effective referral system and coordinate therapy implementation
- Direct and coordinate Therapy Assistants
- Maintain appropriate clinical documentation and information systems
- Contribute to a multidisciplinary program of continuous improvement
- Incorporate aged care quality standards into all services
- Synthesise information through observation and written documentation to provide relationship-centred, evidence-based recommendations
- Undertake a range of assessments to understand the holistic experience of the person
